How I Manifested a House Through Faith and Belief
There’s nothing simple about believing God for something big—especially when everything in the natural tells you it’s impossible. But this is my story of how I saw the invisible and trusted God through the waiting, through the “almosts,” through the no’s, through the delays—and how I walked into the exact house I saw in my spirit.
This wasn’t just a house—it was a faith battle. And I want you to know: I had moments when doubt whispered. I had to speak the Word out loud to silence fear. But I stayed in faith. And what God showed me in the spirit manifested in the natural.
And let me be clear: this isn’t the last big thing God’s done for me. It’s just one story in a journey of overflow, answered prayer, and next-level favor. And greater is still coming.
Years ago, God told me that I was going to be a woman of great faith who would inspire many. But in 2021, He told me something even more powerful: to stop saying I was “going to be” and start recognizing that I already am. Today, I can say with confidence that I trust God and recognize Him as my source far more than I ever have—even more than when I manifested this house. This article is about how I manifested this house and the steps I took—both practical and spiritual.
Let me be clear: I manifested this house through faith and belief in GOD—not “the universe,” but the one true God and Jesus Christ. As a logical person, faith hasn’t always come easy for me—but it always comes. I once heard a pastor say that it’s often hardest for a logical person to have faith—and that hit home. I’m an attorney, so evidence matters. Logic matters. And yet I am also a woman of great faith. Reconciling the spiritual with the practical has been one of my greatest journeys.
I understand that the “how” is God’s domain—and now I’ve learned to look past the logical and expect the supernatural. But there are still steps we have to take in the natural to see the supernatural. So in this article, I’m sharing exactly how—step by step—God brought the vision to life. I’ll also share the obstacles I faced, the practical steps I took, and how faith gave me the victory. From the time I received the vision to the day we closed, it took just 4 months.
God Gave Me a Vision
When I started house hunting, I didn’t begin with the faith to pay cash. I was actually looking for rentals. But then something shifted—I received a vision. Not just an idea or desire, but a deep knowing that I was supposed to own a house outright. I was surprised when God told me to pay cash. It stretched my faith. I had never imagined paying cash for a house. I had no idea how. My bank account didn’t line up. But the vision was so clear, it felt more real than what I saw around me.
So I started looking. At first, I looked at homes that I felt was within our budget. But I couldn’t find anything decent. Something in me said to look beyond what I think I might be able to afford. I expanded the dollar amount of my search—and they had just lowered the price of our house and that’s the reason it showed up in my search results. If the price hadn’t dropped by a substantial amount, it never would’ve appeared in my search results. That alone confirmed that God was orchestrating every detail.
I Saw It in My Spirit
When I saw the listing, something clicked. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I dreamt about it. My husband went to check it out and told me it was even better in person. When I finally walked through it with the realtor, I knew. We all fell in love with the house. My son loved it. My husband loved it. I saw us living there. I decorated every room in my mind. I saw it so clearly in my spirit that I could not let it go. The vision took root.
That’s when the fight of faith began.
The First Major Obstacle: The Price
Even though the house was now in my search range due to the price change, it was still beyond what we had. The bank had rejected offers close to asking price. We were told they would never accept what we could offer.
It was their realtor who wouldn’t submit our offer, saying the bank wouldn’t accept it. But our realtor did submit it. And of course, it was rejected. But the bank countered. We negotiated, and they lowered the price by $10,000—a number that would later be very significant. But even with the discount, we still didn’t have the full amount.
Obstacle #2: Proof of Funds
This one hurt. The bank asked us for proof of funds. We didn’t have it yet. We had been doing everything in the natural—saving, cutting spending, budgeting to the penny—but we weren’t ready. So they rescinded the offer.
And just like that, the house I saw in my spirit—the one I had already claimed by faith—was taken off the table.
Someone else put in an offer that same day. But I stayed in faith—I knew the house was mine-no matter what it looked like in the natural.
How I Stayed in Faith
This is where I could’ve broken. Where I could have said, “Maybe I missed it.” But God had already gone ahead of me.
Before the call came with the “bad news,” God had told me to meditate on Psalm 112. “He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.”
So when our realtor called and said, “I have bad news,” I didn’t crumble. I was ready. God had already strengthened my heart. I didn’t feel defeated—I stayed steadfast. I typically hate hearing that—but I wasn’t phased.
But I still needed to keep my faith strong. That’s when I remembered another testimony—when I needed a specific amount of money in the past, and God came through. I reminded myself: He did it before. He’ll do it again.
I also remembered the principle of sowing. So I stayed in prayer and asked God what to sow. He told me to sow $240. I didn’t know why that number, but I obeyed—and it would later prove to be significant.
Messages from Heaven (Exactly When I Needed Them)
It felt like every time I got weary, God would send a Word to strengthen me.
The House Came Back on the Market
Eventually, the house came back on the market. And I knew—what God has for you, is for you.
We wanted to resubmit another offer—but we still didn’t have proof of funds for the full amount. And Tony didn’t want to submit the offer I wanted. But then, he drove by the house and saw that it had been vandalized. A few windows were broken. That changed things. He reconsidered. And without knowing what was on my heart, our realtor suggested submitting the same number I had in mind.
We submitted our offer.
Highest Bid Situation... Again—I was getting tired by this point.
Soon after, we were told someone else had made an offer too. It was another “highest and best” situation. I almost got discouraged again—but a few hours later, the other buyer dropped out.
We were the only ones left.
The bank countered. I didn’t increase my offer. I stood firm. They rejected it.
This was disappointing but I stayed in faith. I was tired of the back and forth and the many obstacles.
October 18 – God’s Perfect Timing
Throughout this process, while I was in prayer, one date kept coming to me: October 18. I didn’t just make that up—God told me. I didn’t know what would happen on that date, but I trusted Him.
Sure enough, our realtor called and said they’d resubmit the offer on that exact date—with the proof of funds we had already shown. The bank accepted. The deal was sealed on that day—October 18—but we still didn’t have all the money. We had 30 days before closing, and we were believing God for the rest.
What Was Happening Behind the Scenes
While all of this was going on, we were doing everything we could in the natural:
And God kept multiplying.
We received an unexpected $4,000. And, Tony sold a rollback vehicle at the midnight hour—the night before closing. That final sale gave us exactly what we needed.
The $240 Seed and the $10K Drop
Remember I said—don’t forget about the $10,000 price difference.
Here’s why it matters: If the bank hadn’t dropped the price by $10,000, we wouldn’t have had enough to buy the house.Period. That drop wasn’t just negotiation—it was divine alignment. That $10K, paired with the unexpected $4,000 we received, totaled $14,000—which happens to be a 60-fold return on my $240 seed.
What God has for you, is for you.
Final Thoughts: What It Takes to See It Manifest
Faith is not easy. It stretches you. It forces you to believe when nothing looks right. But I’m living proof that you can walk into the very thing you saw in your spirit—if you don’t give up.
Here’s What I Did:
If God has given you a vision—walk toward it. Stay in faith. Do what you can in the natural. And watch what God will do in the supernatural.
Because when God gives you a vision, He gives you provision.
